“An ‘Occupational Hazard’: Rape In The Military” wins RFK Journalism Award
We just got word that the documentary “An ‘Occupational Hazard’: Rape In The Military” that aired on The Bob Edwards Show, SiriusXM Radio has won the 2013 RFK Journalism Award for radio. The five-part series premiered July 30th 2012 and featured Protect Our Defenders President Nancy Parrish,Attorney Susan Burke and several Protect Our Defenders Committee Members including survivors Elle Helmer, Brian Lewis, and Annie Kendzior, and Ariana Klay. We congratulate producer Ariana Pekary and all the survivors who contributed to the documentary.
