[VIDEO] Congresswoman Speier urges directive to re-screen soldiers in positions of trust

Congresswoman Speier shared the story of a 17-year-old girl who alleged she was sexually assaulted by a Marine Corps recruiter who kept his job after a brief suspension. Speier has urged the Department of Defense to re-screen sexual assault counselors, recruiters and drill sergeants for any criminal wrongdoing or unethical behavior after the Army reported it disqualified 588 soldiers and the other services reported just a handful were disqualified. The Marine Corps reported that none of its soldiers in these positions have been disqualified.
