Jacksonville Resident in Historic Military Scandal Keeps Pressure on Sex Assault Issue

William Browning reports for The Florida Times-Union on Protect Our Defenders Advocacy Board Member Paula Coughlin:

Coughlin, 50, has stepped back into the issue as a spokesperson for Protect Our Defenders, a nonprofit civil rights organization that supports victims of sexual assault in the military. During the summer the organization began an online petition asking for a public hearing before the House Armed Services Committee. Roughly 13,000 signatures have been delivered to the chairman.
