A male soldier at Dover AFB asked me to go to a movie with him one afternoon, and I accepted. He was driving a car and veered off into a cornfield. He started acting mean, cruel, and tough unlike how he was before driving into the cornfield. He told me that he had an ax and shovel. He told me what they were going to be used for. I do not remember what I said to get him to drive me back to the base after he raped and tortured me, but he did and said if I told anyone of the rape, he would kill me.
I thought those were my last minutes on earth. I reported the rape and attack and was discharged within 24 hours. I was ordered not to tell anyone about what had happened to me. Both the rapist and the officer who discharged me told me not to tell anyone. I wanted to die so many times since. He was evidently worth more to the military than I was and there should have been justice.
