Air Force Officer, Convicted of Sexual Assault, is Assigned to Victim’s Hometown

A three-star general, acting on his own authority, set aside the conviction and reinstated Wilkerson to full service at full rank. Now, according to the Air Force Times, the Air Force has assigned Wilkerson to a new job heading up the flight safety program at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona. That’s Tucson, Arizona.

The victim’s family lives in Tucson.
