The Ruth Moore Act would modify the requirements to allow legally binding sworn statements to serve as proof. Military Sexual Trauma (MST) is the leading cause of PTSD among servicewomen, yet the Department of Veterans Affairs rejected two-thirds of MST claims between 2008–’10.
