#IAmVanessaGuillen to be shown at this year’s Human Rights Watch Film Festival

Protect Our Defenders is excited to announce that the incredible film, #IAmVanessaGuillen, produced by Univision, will be shown at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival in San Diego! The film follows Karina Lopez, a survivor who started a movement with the viral hashtag #IAmVanessaGuillen to fight back against the broken military justice after Vanessa’s tragic death at Fort Hood.  

From February 2 through February 9, HRWFF will be streaming a series of powerful and poignant films, including #IAmVanessaGuillen, and they’re making attendance extremely accessible so that all those who wish to participate in the festival may do so.
