In Lackland Trials, Fear Factor Crucial in Quest for Justice

“It’s a disturbing decision. So long as the case law remains that prosecutors must prove a specific fear as opposed to a generalized fear, victims will continue to have a very difficult time getting to a jury,” said Nancy Parrish, founder of Protect Our Defenders, an advocate group. “I think that the military justice system did fail another sexual assault victim,” said retired Air Force Tech.
