This program aims to provide pro bono legal representation, referrals, or appropriate resources to service members and civilians who were sexually harassed or sexually assaulted by a member of the U.S. military,and/or were retaliated against for reporting. We serve those affected by military sexual violence, sexual harassment, and victim retaliation, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, race, ethnicity, national origin, age, disability, or any other uniquely defining attribute.
We cannot guarantee that you will receive legal representation, though we will do our best to determine how best we might be able to assist you and your case. All case outcomes are determined after the completion of an intake interview and at the discretion of Protect Our Defenders’ casework and legal staff.
